After an emotional shabbos and preflight cry. The flight went smooth as can be. The movies and food were horrible BUT it was nice being with people that had the same concerns… worries.. and goals as we did. We met the cohens from West orange.. er… Elazar.. and a few other families..
Rabbi Lau spoke at the ceremony in Israel which followed a huge parade where approx 200 guests came to greet the Olim
Next came… pictures… some refreshments… the “sal klita” where you get some money and information on your benefits.. which led to the chaos… after getting your stuff through customs.. we had to wait an hour ot get a cab … so after landing at 6… we FINALLY made it to Ramat Beit Shemesh at 11….
Its hot… but not TOO hot.
I’m at Jay Berkowitz’s house…using his computer… Sad to say.. but.. the plany died and his cat ran away.
