a balloontwister’s aliya saga

its monday afternoon… and we had RAIN today… it was only for a few minutes but everyone here thinks mashiach is coming!!!
We also had big news yesterday when netanyahu left the government….
We got some good news… tommorrow our belongings will be arriving in ramat beit shemesh…. hopefully the stilts made it through… The house we are moving into is almost completed… just no…. doors to the itchen cabinets, the cold water in one of the bathrooms empties out onto the floor… and there is more dust on the floor than outside.. besides that…its really nice.

before I forget, thank you for all the nice comments and emails… Even though we are on the other side of the world.. I still feel like Im there on Rupert avenue…in some ways…
a few musings: the bagels here are horrible.. just imagine a bagel raw…. the cookies are hard and stale when they are fresh and the pizza ..well thats actually ok.
Last night we took the kids to felafel… wow.. really good…
enough about that…
we got our teudah zehut… like a social security number… and will be signing up for medical insurance wednesday.
Tommorrow is a huge fair for the olim. It features educational seminars for parents… tutoring services, how to deal with your oleh children,,,,,stuff like that…
It will also be my first balloon gig…hopefully I can give out alot of cards….

P.S. Once I get my desktop off the lift I’ll send some pictures and stuff..
