well, after a Kids update… How bout a Penina update?

Penina finally got her appointment to get a driving lesson, which is the last step to getting a license.. which allows someone to buy a car.
We are going down to look at cars tommorrow morning in Talpiot.
There are a few cars that people recommend. There is a car / minivan that Mendy Newman has that looks pretty good. Seats 7 or 8 and has a trunk.. Smaller and easier to park than a minivan.
She has also been lax in going to ulpan. With all the chores and errands, she has not been able to make it down everyday. Unfortunately, everyday is errand day in Israel.
Tonight, I can’t go to Ulpan bec. There is PTA at the School.
In case you didn’t know, Penina has been attending the Sara Smiles shiur (I think thats her name) she gives a shiur on Shabbos in the area and alot of women go. I’m not sure if they are doing it l’shaim shimayim or they want to escape their kids (and husbands).
She is also amazed that people are reading these ramblings.. My sister reads them to her kids, Mrs. Sonnenshine reads it everyday…
hmmm… what else is happenning in Penina’s life?
Oh, how can I forget…
The Dud shemesh was fixed.
It doesnt work for me, but when I go to work I turned on the switch for her.
I’ll ask her if it worked.
As for me…. every other day, Its hot.
At least the showers are quicker here.
well, I’m going to sign off and head to mincha.
p.s. try not to call her when its bed time for the kids.. this forces ME to do it.
In fact, please call ME when its bedtime..don’t tell her I said that…
