Great site.
I found a shul that has a minyan thursday and shabbos morning.5 minutes from my hotel. its a chabad house and the people there are very nice.
I ended up layning today and I got Levi. The people were very impressed that I was able to layn… it was an easy layning… being rosh chodesh.. but these aren’t the most yeshivish people.
This reminds me of the shul in Whitestone, NY. I was there many years ago staying at a friends house. Sometimes we forget that there are people that have almost no concept of yiddishkeit.. BUT they are rabbis that have dedicated their lives to try and help them keep a kesher to yehadus. Kol Hakoved.
This morning I had to wear a tie. First time I had to wear one at work in a LONG time. Today was a dry run of the SAP training. The team leader, jill conducted the class while the other trainers listened.
they totally beat her up. Questions, chaos..etc.. Better her than me though. I get my turn monday.
I may be back in Israel before too long.
This shabbos I’ll be hanging out in Wesley hills at the braverman’s and the millers… before I head to brooklyn for a balloon gig Sat. night. With shabbos starting so early, I don’t have time to head to brooklyn this week.
I can’t believe people work on Fridays here.
well, in any event, I’m going to sign off and get some sleep.
