Coming home… I’m coming home - Cinderella
November 10, 2005well, the BMW project has been put on hold So…. its back home Sat. night. Changed the flight and its home jerome.
I think I’ll get to see Yanky Kasirer for an hour or so before he come BACK from Israel.
I learned alot coming back to Chutz L’aretz.
Learned how much I missed my friends and family and how after a few minutes.. I felt like I never left.
Learned how the work environment is so much different here.
Its family in Israel.
Dati or not… its family.
Here in the states its different. TO your face its one thing, behind your back its something else.
I also learned how difficult it is to be without your family. I have no idea how people do it. I guess if you have no other choice its one thing.
But its depressing making kiddush and looking around and not seeing your kids there. Seeing Andrew and Carly making trouble is not the same as seeing my own kids make trouble. I also learned how happy people were to see me and to make me feel home.
It wasn’t the most pleasant experience working at BMW… but it was good experience.
Traveling on the company dime and staying in the Hilton sounds nice… but… it was not easy.
well, I’m going to sign out and head out.
see ya!
