She went out with her friends, went out for shabbos, went to the RJJ dinner, my nephew’s upsherin, saw my sister, went shpping….Oh… I think she got in some work as well.
I was told that people want to hear more about HER so… this is it.
I picked her and Tamar up and brought them home to a semi clean /semi messy house. Penina will not let a little jet lag stand in the way of a messy house. She stayed up until midnight cleaning and doing the laundry. This morning she and Tamar slept until 11 am, so I think the jetlag is over. Good thing. The kids have been eating cream cheese and peanut butter every day since Penina was in the US.
Today is Tuesday… you know what that means…
Tiyul Tuesday!
Kids are in school until 1pm so its up to the parents to get a tiyul together. Well, today we hit a home run.

Wow… what a great trip.
Camel rides, pita making…….a speech from Avrohom..
The premise is to recreate how avrohom avinu lived and how he invited guests in the desert.
he washed our hands, served us water and dried fruits, helped make pita on a fire… just a great time. Its located just past ma’ale adummim. They have catering and sleep overs there as well. It overlooks jericho and it just oozing of history. The city of Ai. The tour guide, gives you robes to wear as he helps you on the camel… and gives a great “shpeal”… gets the kids involved and gives the adults a new perspective on how life was back then.
After the 1 and a 1/2 hours, we went to dinner at KFC in the mevaserret mall, the only mehadrin KFC in Israel.
My folks had a great time.
The funny thing is I just heard about this place the night before and just made the reservation that morning. So if you think you’ve seen all of israel… think again… there is SO much to do.
well, I’m finishing up some work and then heading to bed before Penina asks me to clean up my mess…
