Its nissan. For some its going to be the longest 2 weeks of the year. For the rest its going to be difficult… trying to get out of the way of your wife cleaning the house, car, etc. For me, its going to be a real vacation. I get to be home for three weeks. Columbus is ending at the end of April and I get to work the last three weeks from Israel. WOO HOO!!

So this shabbos its off to Staten Island where I ‘ll fill up a suitcase filled with… stuff.. to take back to Israel. I leave Columbus Thursday afternoon next week and fly to NY and then to ISrael. This shabbos I’ll be at Kasirup and Litchy. The truth is I think about Yanky more than anyone from SI. Every morning I wake up and I think up yanky. HE tackled me 2 months ago and sprained my ankle. So every morning when I hear a crack and wince. I think of yanky. I’m sure every time he gets pinched he thinks of me…. oops… probably should have taken that out.

Last night I attended a meeting and had a nice time. Approx. 15 people and the Columbus Shaliach sat around a living room in someone’s house and talked about making aliya.. the challenges. A gentleman who is a lawyer spke for the most part and talked about living in Israel..and other challenges. Then some guy spoke about aliya but working in Columbus. Some short guy with a NJ Nets shirt. I had a nice time. I actually saw a Ba’al teshuva who is making aliya, that I met in Columbus a few months ago. He went on a pilot trip a little while ago so it was nice to see him again. Gives me a little inspiration to hear other people making aliya as they ask questions that can only be answered by an oleh chadash. Nefesh b’nefesh….Red tape…etc..

Yesterday was a big day. Bec. we don’t have a TV in Israel. I signed up for MLB.TV so we can watch the Metsies on the COmputer. So today, I have ESPN radio, Yahoo music, and the Mets / cardinals game on…. Its a wonder I get ANY work done around here. Its shocking that they are upset that I’m cutting out at the end of April and not extending my contract another Month.

Well, I’m going to sign off… get SOME work done.
